Members of North Hollywood Navy Reserve unit crowd around to learn art of Naval science. In foreground are several Compton Explorer Scouts who attended week-end cruise to watch Navy in action. In background are depth charge racks holding cylinders of powder. Signaling, first aid, navigation, maintenance, firefighting and engineering are just few of many skills taught in two-day trip.
