Description
A woman in an evening dress from 1812. The woman wears a white, short sleeved evening dress. The dress has a short bodice and a long plain skirt. The bodice is laced and pearls line the edges of the lacing. Her sleeves are almost off the shoulder and have a striped pattern with pearls sewn onto some of the stripes. Two long tassels are attached at the waist on the left and hang two thirds of the way down the skirt. She wears white gloves and white shoes with white stockings. She wears a two-strand pearl necklace. At the center of the bodice she wears a single pink rose with two green leaves. Her brown hair is wavy and parted in the center. She stands out of doors at the top of three steps. There is a column on her left and some shrubs and trees are in the background.
