Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated March 30, 1962 reads "Recreation and Park Commission will choose site for $6.6 million project." Luckman is pictured in front of a map showing three possible sites for a new zoo in Los Angeles: Roger Jessup Park in Pacoima, Griffith Park and Elysian Park. His father, Charles Luckman, noted architect, was hired by the city of Los Angeles to recommend a site.
