Description
Photographic group portrait of the Morgan family in front of the Randsburg Oil and Fuel Company building, 1898. The building is at center and is a simple wooden structure with a covered wooden porch on the front side at left. A single wooden door is flanked by large rectangular windows. At right is a horse-drawn wagon, and more wooden buildings are visible in the background at right. Beyond the buildings is a tall hill. The Morgan family is gathered on the porch, with some sitting and some standing.
People in photo are: "1. Orville Craft, 2. Karle B. Morgan, 3. Elder R. Morgan, 4. Kate Delina Morgan (mother), 5. Frank A. Morgan (father), 6. Russell B. Morgan, 7. Harold R. Morgan, 8. neighbor girl, 9. Aunt May Balcom (sister of Kate D. Morgan, 10. unknown driver in horse carriage." Photoprint reads: "donated by Elder Rand Morgan, 2302 Huntington Drive, San Marino, California, 1953".
