"Santa Monica"--text, handwritten in pencil on verso. Advertisement for "Pacific Photograph Gallery, Rile and Pancost props." on back (Harry Frantz Rile). Title devised by cataloger; date approximated by cataloger based on year that the Cates block on Third Street was constructed (Ingersoll's century history, Santa Monica Bay Cities, page 175).
