In the right foreground, a parking lot is visible just in front of a two-story residential-style building, behind which the Summers Manufacturing Company, Incorporated building and factory can be seen. Farther down at right, scaffolding is visible going up for the erection of a new building. Legible signs from left to right read: "Western Electric Company", "Auto Park", "Any Car Washed $1.50", "Grether & Grether" and "Summers Mfg. Co. Inc., Factory".
