Description
Full-length portrait, holding cane and hat. 2014-5913. Negative from an original carte-de-visite. California State Library does not own the original. Arrived in California in 1850 via steamer. Was Methodist minister, in Sacramento during the 1860's, later in San Francisco. Died in 1902 at his ranch near Newark, Alameda County. Negative no.: 8643 (5x4 in.)
