Description
Front view of St. Patrick's Orphanage located a mile and a half outside of the Sacramento city limits. Architect: Harry J. Devine; contractors: Azevedo & Sarmento. Cost: $240,000. The building is brick and strictly fireproof and houses 100 children. A school, chapel and living quarters for the Sisters is provided in addition to facilities for the children. Located on a 50 acre plot. The architecture is Venetian Gothic. Completed and occupied in September 1932.
