Annotation translation: "The Mangroves stand on their roots as though they were on stilts. They are up to their trunks in water when the tide comes in, but standing free when it goes out again. The bark is used for tanning fur." - "Vollbehr Art Postcards, Cameroon." Annotation: "Auf hohen Stelzwurzeln stehen die Mangroven, deren Rinde zum Gerben von Fellen verwendet wird.
