Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the old Hugo Reid adobe on Rancho Santa Anita, ca.1940. The one-story adobe ranch house is pictured from an angle at center, diminishing towards the left. Three doors can be seen in the front of the adobe, which features a raised brick porch. The roof is covered with terracotta tile, while a brick chimney extends from its peak. This was also the home of Elias J. "Lucky" Baldwin. Hugo Reid, a Scotsman who gained Mexican citizenry, was the original builder and inhabitant of the home.
