Photograph caption dated October 22, 1964 reads, "Massive Display -- 835 Artists put more than 4,000 art works on display in the mall of Bullock's Fashion Square, Riverside and Woodman, Sherman Oaks, Sunday. A free exhibit with many of the works for sale, the Festival is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. tomorrow. [sic]"
