Description

Photograph caption dated May 9, 1957 reads, "This building isn't as flat as it appears in photograph, but this is view that helicopter pilots see when they fly over Van Nuys City Hall tower, familiar landmark. Age of helicopter has arrived and fewer heads turn skyward when they fly over Valley delivering mail and carrying passengers. 'Copters are photographers' delight as they make perfect serial tripod for never-before shots like one above."; See images #00138589 through #00138594 for all photos in this series.
