Photograph of a view of a prune orchard in San Jose, California, ca.1900. An automobile is parked at center facing the background with a short, lightly-colored fence and mail box to the right. Further down, the fence is shorter and made with horizontal wood paneling. That part of the fence is lined with large trees on the left while the lightly-colored trees of the orchard stand in rows behind the fence. The rows of trees extend into the background where they meet the faint hills in the distance.
