Description
Photograph of the exterior of the Ferry Building in San Francisco, ca.1905. The long stone building has two stories, the top one identified by large arched windows and the bottom one by arched doorways. A massive clock tower, which shows the time to be 11 o'clock, is on the left side of the image and dominates the building. There is a smaller, round tower with a conical roof on the right side. In front of the building on the cobblestone streets, there are several horse-drawn vehicles and pedestrians.
