Description
Photograph caption dated March 3, 1958 reads "While cement mixer churns in background, this Sikorsky helicopter is being refueled to carry cement into Santa Susana Mountains where Southern California Edison Company is linking Saugus and Chatsworth with 66,000 volt transmission line. Helicopter is performing certain jobs in 20 minutes which normally take up to eight hours in mountainous terrain." See images 00155775 through 00155778 for all photos in this series.
