Description
Black and white lantern slide showing a pilgrim in India journeying to a shrine through crawling on the ground. He wears only small shorts, and moves along a dusty road. The original commentary to this slide reads: "A devotee crawling to the shrine. He measures his length in the dust from his own doorstep to the temple door." This slide comes from a collection created by missionaries from Regions Beyond Missionary Union, an interdenominational Protestant evangelical mission working in northeast India (Bihar and Orissa) and Nepal.
