Description
Shoppers crossing the street on South First at Post, San Jose, California. Blum's can be seen in the background, as well as Roos-Atkins, Town House Fountain Restaurant, and Doctor S. Grasso and Doctor S. Gordon Optometrists. Featured in the "City with a Past" exhibit with the caption, "Businesses along South First Street, c. 1950. Blum's was famous for its specialty ice creams." Blum's was a department store. Bank of america building, top right.
