Photograph article dated November 2, 1963 partially reads, "A new beer bottle has been designed for an extraordinary brew which has been available, until now, only on draught. The vase-shaped flagon should become history's first 'no deposit, no return, no discard' beer bottle. To make a brown beer bottle bud vase, you drink the suds, add buds, place on a base. The candle thing takes a little longer, like maybe five minutes. We stuck a Christmas decoration on the bottle, a white candle in the top and painted the works aluminum...In the background, naturally is the product itself, Michelob, pronounced 'Mick-el-lobe,' a product of Anheuser-Busch."
