Photograph caption dated May 10, 1961 reads "Birmingham High's Doug Haney, left, and teammate Dave Abrams are seen lining up putt as they shot even par 70 yesterday in West Valley League golf team matches at Balboa Course. Birmingham leads West Valley race while North Hollywood is challenging Van Nuys for championship of East Valley League." Balboa Golf Course is also known as Sepulveda Golf Course and is located in Encino.
