Photograph article dated November 17, 1956 partially reads, "Former world's lightweight champion Lauro Salas risks a possible big money match with Miguel Berrios next month when he engages Boston's Tommy Tibbs in tonight's 10-round main event at Hollywood Legion Stadium. This year, the 22-year-old Tibbs has come through unscratched in three efforts. One of his wins was over Benny Artist, who did well locally earlier this year." Photograph caption reads, "Tommy Tibbs boxes Salas tonight."
