Description
Interior view of the main lobby of the new Los Angeles Stock Exchange (later the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange) at 618 South Spring Street in Los Angeles. Building is a moderne style office building with a stock trading hall. Date built: 1929-1930. Architects: Parkinson & Parkinson. Photo dated: January 3, 1931. Seen are the board, with corners cut to make it more readable, specialist booths, and along the wall some of 64 booths which serve as private offices for members of the exchange.
