Description
Kenneth Hopper writes Mr. Hajime Nashiwa, of Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd., saying that it was with regret that he learned that he and his wife should have visited Nashiwa last September on the day of their visit to Wakayama Steel. Hopper says he would appreciate Nashiwa's advice in connection with a book he is writing for Macmillan Press on his experience in how industry is managed in Europe, the United States, and Japan. He adds that he would also appreciate if Nashiwa could help Hopper obtain a page or so of information on Mr. Inoue, his contribution to Japanese management practice, and the honors he has received from the Japanese government.
