View looking southwest shows front patio of the two-story, stucco house with tile roof, chimney and attached two-car garage. A long balcony with several potted plants overlooks grassy area with lush landscaping and stone walkways. A sitting area is located beneath the balcony. French doors lead to living room at far right. Charles H. Cheney (1884-1943) was city planner for the Palos Verdes Project and served on the Palos Verdes Art Jury from its inception in 1922 through 1940.
