Photograph of the grave of Lieutenant Thomas E. Gastor(?), 1933. At center is an upright headstone framed by stone blocks. In the center of the stone blocks is a flat piece of cracked slate with "In memory of Lieut. Thomas E. Gastor(?). Company [?]. Died at Fort Tejon 1855. Aged 35". A wreath is visible leaning against the front of the memorial. A dirt road runs to the left of the grave and winds around a bush-filled hill at left. Rolling hills are visible in the background as well as trees with little to no leaves on them.
