Description
"Ipyana. Missionsvieh. Geschwister Richard kontrollieren." ("Ipyana. A cattle herd of the missionaries, directed by Brother and Sister Richard."). In the foreground is a herd of cattle
in the background are four people, directing the herd.
Théophile Richard, 1866-1944, started work as a missionary in East Africa in 1891. In 1897 he was living in Ipiana. In 1905 Missionary Richard went back to Europe.
