Los Angeles Aqueduct pipe line section, which carries water four miles from the Owens River across the rugged slopes and gullies of Cherry Canyon to the Bouquet Reservoir. The pipe, which cost $1,000,000, is 84 inches in diameter and delivers water at the rate of 100 cubic feet per second. The same pipe, by gravity, returns water from the Bouquet reservoir to the electric generators in San Francisquito Canyon. Photo date: March 27, 1934.
