Description
Brigadier General Don Curtis talks about his career in the Marine Corps during World War I and World War II. He discusses being at Pearl Harbor in the 1920s and watching over the new submarine fleets. He talks about his tours in the United States, China, and the Philippine Islands. He describes where he was when he heard about the Pearl Harbor attacks and talks about his troops having to surrender to the Japanese. Vice Admiral Ingulf Kiland talks about his experiences as a Naval Officer in World War II, fighting in Hawaii. He discusses the differences between ship technologies. He ends the interview by talking about the different ships he served on.
