Description: This was the first golf course in the Coachella Valley, dating back to before 1924. The course was replaced with new construction in the 1950s.
Bystanders watch as owners start walking their dogs to the judging field at the dog show in Palm Springs, held on the Desert Inn "Mashie" Golf Course on Tahquitz Canyon Way.
