Title supplied by cataloger.
Construction of City Hall began in 1926 and was completed in 1928; its first dedication took place on April 27th of the same year. It remained the tallest building in California from 1928-1964 at 28 stories tall (450 feet). Associated architects were: John C. Austin, John and Donald Parkinson, and Albert C. Martin. City Hall is located at 200 N. Spring Street.; Joseph Young created the Triforium sculpture, which was installed in 1975.
