Title from docket on page [4]. A letter from Juan de Acu¤a, marqu‚s de Casafuerte, granting the establishment of three missions in the region of Pimeria Alta to the Jesuit father Juan Antonio de Oviedo. The three missions are to be dedicated to Saint John the Baptist (San Juan Baptista), Saint Francis of Assisi (San Francisco de Assis) and Saint Theresa of Avila (Santa Theresa de Jesus). The two other Jesuits named as missionaries are Joseph Augustin de Campo and Ygnacio de Azevedo.
