Description
This interview covers many important topics of Mariposa County history including Cathey's Valley, mining, Agua Fria, Guadalupe Mine- stamp mill, Chinese in Agua Fria, school in Cathey's Valley, road building - volunteer, wood cutting and hauling to Merced, Carson Flat, Cathey's Valley - Garden spot of County. Lee Rowland was a miner and old-timer in Mariposa County. Phil Rowland was a brother to Lee and Leora was Lee's wife.
