Description
In the 3500 East Colorado Boulevard block, where Colorado meets Lotus Avenue, three pedestrians cross the street. Behind them is a line of 1940s-era automobiles. Commercial establishments in the background include The Cut Rate Store, Al's Shoe Shop, Sierra Apartments, and the Bergman Brothers Real Estate Company. The A-1 Cesspool Company is further back (3558 East Colorado Boulevard). Documentation provided by the photographer indicates these photos were taken for Pasadena Press located at 95 North Raymond Avenue. We believe the image in this shot is right across the street from the image seen in pmh_JAH1447n2.
