President Gerald Ford (left) at the dedication of the Firestone Fieldhouse in 1975. President Ford received an honorary doctor of laws degree from Pepperdine University on this occasion. Other guests of honor (from left to right) are Pepperdine benefactors Richard Scaife and Fritz Huntsinger, and singer Pat Boone, who lead the national anthem.
