Description
Photograph shows a bridge spanning a stream. There is a person on the left side of the bridge. It is at the YWCA's Camp Ayun Mapu in Big Basin.
The YWCA's Camp Ayun Mapu at Big Basin near Boulder Creek attracted about 150 girls for two week sessions in the summer. From Fran Smith, "Breaking Ground:The Daring Women of the YWCA in the Santa Clara Valley, 1905-2005," (2005), p. 51. Big Basin became a state park in 1902.
