Image of a view of the three-story facade of the New Park Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, managed by Colonel William E. Sinn, with carriages, a dog, and people on horseback on the street out front, two posters visible including one with the legible words "Happy Man," "Edward," and "Curry," and signs for the theatre including the date "1873." Probable date approximated by cataloger based on theater history; Sinn took over control of the Park Theatre in 1875 and "Happy Man" was produced at the theatre in February 1875 (Odell, Annals of the New York Stage, Vol. IX, page 627). "A. Hoen & Co. Balto."--text, bottom right. A leaflet with the "New Park Theatre. Manager's Card" for the 1877-1878 Fall and Winter Seasons listing the company members, and featured artists and attractions, printed by "Eagle Print, Brooklyn," is house with the poster.
