Description
Black and white photograph: Interior of Cameron House, Family Day, Chinatown, San Francisco, California, 2.00 p.m., September 14, 2002. The photograph depicts the entrance hall on which is painted a huge mural containing the history of Chinese immigration into the United States. In front of the mural are 2 long tables, Left and Right, with people of Chinese origin seated or standing. The center of wall containing the mural is a large doorway leading into the auditorium, and there are chairs arranged in rows, people seated in the chairs, and a small stage around which people are gathered.
