Description
Chart showing the petroleum production with the comparison of 3 major fields (California, Oklahoma and Texas) and the remainder of the U.S.A. during the years 1876-1934. The 3 major fields, as represented on the left by the tallest tower, produced 11,307,000,000 billions of barrels. In contrast, the smaller tower on the right represents 4,948,000,000 billions of barrels. The chart, sponsored by the Federal Writers' Project, was drawn by D.C. Newmarch. Dated October 1936.
