Photograph of a view of Spring Street from Sixth Street, ca.1912. A narrow paved street is shown at left, on which a street car can be seen moving towards pedestrians. At right, tenement and commercial buildings are pictured, the centermost of which is decorated with American Flags and which contains the Alexander for Mayor Citizens' Committee.
Leigible signs from left to right read: "Population 1920 -- 1,000,000. Grasp the Situation. W.M. Garland & Co. Real Estate", "[...] the Hatter", "Walter Bros", "Peck Judah Free Information Bureaus", "Golden State Reality Co", and "Socialist Meetings Here".
