Photograph article dated March 12, 1965 partially reads, "Guatemala, whose four million souls count a vast majority mired in a morass of poverty and extreme hardship, has gained a Catholic priest whose humanitarian philosophies and Christian sympathy will shed new light of hope on his newly assigned parishes. He is Fr. Robert Ross, who was a Catholic pastor at Blessed Sacrament Church, Westminster (Orange Count [sic]) for 17 years. The padre, a member of the Columban Fathers, arrived here this week from Peru where he just finished a four-month Spanish language course for Catholic priests."
