A large glass container holds hot salted peanuts at George's Popcorn and Hot Nuts stand in The Pike amusement park south of Ocean Blvd. in Long Beach. Popcorn sell for five cents for small bags, ten cents for large bags. The popcorn flavors include: Butterscotch, Standard popcorn crisp, Carmel corn, Honey popcorn crisp, and Molasses popcorn crisp. Surrounding George's are other shops and arcades.; Started in 1902, The Pike ran until 1979.
