Photograph identification: Log scaling station showing two scaling platforms: one for the trucks using the county highway (on far left) and the other for over-width, over-weight trucks using the Sacramento Box private road. The scaler estimated the volume of each log brought in from the woods and was paid jointly by Sacramento Box and Soper-Wheeler. Jess West. About half mile above Woodleaf, Yuba County.
