Description
Two women in full dress. The woman on the left wears a pale pink bonnet tied under her chin. She wears a blue brocade coat or overdress trimmed with brown fur over a white blouse or underdress with pleats and lace details on the bodice and full sleeves. She holds a red art portfolio under her left arm, and wears cream colored gloves. The woman on the right sits in a forest green upholstered chair. She wears a a white, ruched bonnet with a white plume down the side. She wears a deep red mantelet coat with wide fringe and patterned hems on the sleeves, hem, and cape collar. the fabric is patterned with bows and zigzags. Her dress is a gray-purple color, with white ruffles at the cuffs. She holds two pictures in her gloved hands. The women are in a room with white wall paneling and pale yellow molding, white draperies, and a beige carpet.
