Description
Photograph shows Sarah Tribbey Smith Folsom standing with Clinton Folsom and an unidentified woman, in front of her home in Oroville, California. Note by Larry Richardson: Sarah's husband Steven Thos. Smith enlisted in the Spanish American War. When he returned she divorced him - he wanted to live in San Francisco where he saw other women. With money she saved from taking in laundry and doing weaving she bought a home at the upper end of Thermalito Bridge. She took in a roomer named Clinton Folsom - they married in 1904 and they moved to Chico in 1906.
