Description
„Eine Kaffer-Hütte wird gedeckt“ („A Kaffir hut is roofed“). A hut with thatched roof. Four women are sitting on it. Another woman is climbing the ladder to the roof. Four children standing in front of the hut. The fifth child is carried by another. A man wearing trousers with braces is walking in the foreground.
Johannes Vogt (1883-1973) was bishop of the Moravian Church (from 1947 onwards) and has visited Tanganyika in the years 1938 and 1939.
