This birds eye view of campus shows the build-out of the land in 1990. Many of the original WWII buildings still remain, and the vehicle flow around the perimeter of campus is greatly reduced from the earlier plans. The large expanse of surface parking lots along the western edge of campus were eventually replaced with the Student Resource Building, Parking Structure #22, and the Education and Social Sciences buildings. Additionally, the wide expanse of open field just to the north of Robertson Gymnasium has been filled in with multiple recreational facilities and practice fields. This map shows a particular instance in time, before the large building boom of the '90s, where large surface parking lots dominate the landscape, and open space existed along the perimeter of the campus.
