View of the garden at the Spanish style El Roblar Hotel, located at 122 East Ojai Avenue in Ojai. Various plants which thrive in the Southern California climate such as, cacti, date palms, Canary Island palms, and chaparral shrubs surround the hotel. The concrete Mission style arbor, from which a small lantern hangs, adds to the charm of the hotel grounds. The hotel, designed by architect Richard Requa with the support of Edward Libbey, was built in 1920. As of 2008, the building serves as The Oaks at Ojai, a full-service spa.; For view 1 of this series, see image 00005087.
