Interior view of McKinley Avenue Baptist Church located at 5025 S. McKinley Ave. and 50th Street. Photo was taken from the balcony and it shows the baptismal pool at the rear of the church. Images of Jesus and John the Baptist are flanked on either side by organ pipes; and below that are rows of seats, possibly for the choir. In the center, an organ, a pulpit or podium, three wooden chairs lined with red velvet, and a piano are visible. Four people sit in the pews on the right of this otherwise empty church. Verso on photograph states that in 1920 this church was known as South Park Baptist Church, and in 1945 it became Zion Hill Baptist Church; however it does not list when it acquired its current name. Photo dated: 2004.
