Description
Benjamin C. Bradlee discusses his autobiography, “A Good Life.” He begins by explaining that he was the editor of the Washington Post during President Kennedy’s assassination, the Pentagon Papers, and the Watergate scandal. He talks about attending Harvard and knowing John F. Kennedy. He discusses what it was like to fight in World War II, and how it gave American youth responsibility. Bradlee describes going to Paris as a European correspondent writing for Newsweek. He talks about how the Washington Post currently affects people’s ideas of politics. He ends the interview by talking about his romantic encounters with women.
