Description
Photograph of San Francisco earthquake damage, showing photographers on Grant Avenue from Market Street, 1906. Two photographers operate a large camera on a tripod in the middle of the street at center. Debris lies on their left side and a horse-drawn carriage stands behind a group of men on the right. The photographers take pictures of the crumbled buildings which line the street on either side into the distance. Gift: Carey Stanton, 1978.
