Photograph caption dated January 28, 1958 reads, "Basketball players from North Hollywood and Hollywood High Schools take chase after elusive ball during last night's city semi-final game at Venice High's gym. Those in pursuit of ball are, from left, Chris Appel, sensational Hollywood Sheik star; Paul Cook, No. 14, North Hollywood guard; Russ White, No. 6, North Hollywood forward, and Al Heimel, No. 8, also of North Hollywood. Hollywood won 64-41 to meet Jefferson in finals tomorrow night."
